It only leaves us with a vague message, but this also means that we have limited yet solid fixes.

Snapchat not working on BlueStacks
As per the error mentioned above, we will be carrying out the following fixes,
1] Get the latest version of supported BlueStacks
Due to some reasons, Snapchat is blocked by its developers to run on a newer version of BlueStacks, starting with BlueStacks 3 or the latest version of the emulator. So, the only workaround left for us is to install the most supported version of BlueStacks.
For that, start by typing appwiz.cpl in the Start Search box and hit Enter to open the Uninstall a program Control Panel applet. From the populated list in the new window, look for an entry called BlueStacks App Player. Right-click on it and click on Uninstall. Reboot your computer. After rebooting your computer, you will have to delete all the residual files & folders left by this software. After you are done, get the required setup file of BlueStacks 2 from here. Once you have installed it, try using Snapchat on it.
2] Get the latest version of Snapchat for Android
Getting the latest version of Snapchat is simple. Just head to the Google Play Store on BlueStacks. Search for Snapchat, and from the app page, select Install to download and install it on your app emulator. Alternatively, you can head to APKMirror.com and get the latest version of Snapchat available.
You will get an APK file downloaded to your computer. Just drag and drop it to your actual app player. It will prompt you to install the APK file. Install it by following the instructions on the screen. Now check if Snapchat is working fine for you on BlueStacks.
3] Use an older version of BluetStacks
Similar to how the latest version of BlueStacks can fix the problem, reverting to an older version may also work. It’s all about compatibility and if the version you are trying to use has been tested with the version you have on your PC.
Is Bluestacks safe for Snapchat?
While we do not vouch for any software safety, Bluestacks has been there for a very long time, and if it had not been safe, everyone would have known about it. So while you can use it, It will take your call at the end of the day for BlueStacks or any software.
Is BlueStacks illegal for PC?
BlueStacks is an Android Emulator, and while you are not using it on an Android device, it is perfectly legal to test it on any platform. Also, since it is not trying to emulate a smartphone, so it’s all good.
Can you use Snapchat on an emulator?
While it may not be illegal but as a company, Snapchat doesn’t want users to use the app on an emulator. It is one of the reasons why Snapchat keeps breaking on almost any emulator. I hope this helps you.
